Création Duo Diffusion

The Création Duo Diffusion project is an initiative of Centre SAGAMIE wanted artists from different regions to meet and work together, in tandem, to develop new works to be presented at duo exhibitions at Centre SAGAMIE at our partners' venues.

From the outset of the project, the three partner centers - Occurrence (Montreal), Caravansérail (Rimouski) and Regart (Lévis) - were invited to play an active part in the project's direction with their respective artistic directors. Each center's programming committee selected an artist from the Saguenay-Lac-Saint-Jean region, then paired them with an artist from their own region, according to the artistic orientation of their center and the affinities they could see between the two creators' approaches.
