The Centre SAGAMIE, in collaboration with the deaf artist Véro Leduc, invites artists from the Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean region to apply for the “Pages blanches: Inclusion and Diversity” project, which will take place from November 30 to December 11, 2026. Each selected participant will be invited to create their own micro-publication.
The Pages blanches Project
The "Pages blanches: Inclusion and Diversity" project is part of an initiative focused on creation, exchange, and openness led by the Centre SAGAMIE. Designed as an inclusive co-creation residency, it will bring together the deaf artist Véro Leduc and two artists from the Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean region in a shared space for research and experimentation in the field of micro-publishing.
This convergence of different sensory and linguistic realms will become fertile ground where silence, gesture, and image engage in a dialogue to give rise to new forms of artistic communication.
In partnership with Collège d'Alma, the project also includes the creation of a collaborative micro-publication produced by students in the Visual and Digital Arts program. This publication will serve as a tangible record of the exchanges between the artists and the students, while also serving as a tool for promoting and raising awareness of diversity.
This project aims to be a space for listening and dialogue, where diversity becomes a source of innovation and meaning—driven by the conviction that art, in all its diverse forms, is an essential vehicle for mutual understanding and social inclusion.
