Couturier Lafargue

This bilingual publication presents the work of the Couturier Lafargue duo from its beginnings in 1990 to the present day.

Their practice is based on the following referents: identity, portraiture, the individual, the collective, territory, geography, landscape, architecture, ecology and abstraction. The collective's works are multidisciplinary: photography, video, painting, drawing, installation, sculpture and performance. They develop visual and narrative content that shifts viewing angles and reading paradigms. Their work is evolving, free and open.

Paul Ardenne

Paul Ardenne is a writer and art historian. He has been involved with Couturier Lafargue since the early 2000s, both as an observer and curator.
