Andes A. Beaulé is a visual artist, author, friend, researcher, lover, educator, a devotee of living beings and music apprentice who lives in Tiohtià:ke (Montréal, QC). The fluidity between work and life, the feminine and the masculine, or the gentle and the radical, is not binary, but rather a reflection of the complexities and beauty inherent in everything that pulsates with life. Their artistic practice has flourished through various residencies in Quebec, thanks to grants from the Councils of the Arts, and their excellence is recognized by the contemporary art community, notably with the Prix Polygone (2025). Their approach to abstraction draws inspiration from ephemera—artistic and marginal communities, deep relational bonds, print media, sexualities, mail art, writing, emancipation, drawing, and the book as a mans to speak up that fosters gatherings, discussions, oral expression, and alternative pedagogies.

Andes A. Beaulé has been selected by L'Œil de Poisson as part of the PRÉSENCES project. Following their residency at Centre SAGAMIE, they will take part in a group exhibition at L'Œil de Poisson in 2027.
