The SAGAMIE Center invites you to the opening of the exhibition Amplifier l’errance, guetter le sillon des foulées(Amplify Wandering, Watch for Footprints), curated by Galadriel Avon, on February 5 at 5 p.m., with the artists in attendance.

This exhibition presents works by six emerging artists selected by L’Écart as part of the PRÉSENCES project, initiated by the SAGAMIE Center.

Following a residency at the SAGAMIE Center for each artist, the exhibition was first held at L'Écart last spring and will be presented at the SAGAMIE Center from February 5 to May 4.

This exhibition is part of the PRÉSENCES project initiated by the SAGAMIE Center in collaboration with seven partner venues: L’Écart, Rouyn-Noranda; daphne, Montreal; Skol, Montreal; Vaste et Vague, Carleton; L’Œil de poisson, Quebec City; Caravansérail, Rimouski; Regart, Lévis.

PRÉSENCES aims to promote the work of 32 emerging artists and 8 emerging curators/authors in the professional community of artist-run centers across Quebec. 

The PRÉSENCES project is funded by the Programme Initiatives structurantes en circulation d’œuvres de la relève au Québec of the CALQ.
