Izabelle Desroches is a visual artist and cultural outreach worker who lives and works in Quebec City. Her practice explores the links between the body, land and memory in a relational approach. She is interested in the image's capacity to create narratives. She also focuses on the land in a sensory and ecological perspective. Travel is at the heart of her artistic approach, both as a means to experience new spaces and as catalyst of encounters and stories. Each of her projects is shaped by a direct connection to the places, people, and memories associated with them. Her work has been exhibited in Quebec, Iceland, Belgium, and Chile.

Izabelle Desroches has been selected by L'Œil de Poisson as part of the PRÉSENCES project. Following her residency at the Centre SAGAMIE, she will take part in a group exhibition at L'Œil de Poisson in 2027.
