Self-taught Montreal artist Jason Cantoro has 20 years of practice. He co-founded the Cinqunquatre workshop with Alice Jarry (2004-2016) and the Studio Le Club (2016 to present). He works on his creations and also acts as a mentor and teacher for emerging artists. His work shows a strong interest in mixing techniques, mediums and modes of presentation. His creative process is rooted in human relationships and the sharing of personal experiences.

His work has been represented by numerous commercial galleries in Canada, the United States and Paris. In addition to participating in many art fairs in these same cities as well as in Asia and throughout the rest of Europe, he has participated in a multitude of group exhibitions. He exhibited in solo in Manhattan, Montreal and Belgrade, Serbia. He participated in the public art event Aires Libres in Montréal, 2015 and he made a residency in Italy, summer of 2018, in the city of Lozio in Lombardy where he designed a sculptural public art piece. The same year he created the first mural to be part of the Bureau d'Art Public de la Ville de Montréal's bank of works. It is located on the Strathearn building in Milton Park neighborhood.
