I am a multidisciplinary artist who uses drawing as a vehicle for thought. My back-and-forth movements between painting, ceramic sculpture, performance, textile creation and installation, as well as my occasional immersions in nature fuel my imagination and allow me to multiply inter-species crossings on the basis my own experience, thus allowing me to develop a personal mythology and to refine my aesthetic vocabulary.

The place where we go about necessarily influences our movements, in harmony with or in reaction to our inner life. In this perspective, dance, as a bewitching and unifying ritual outlet, is a powerful means to allow our body to interact with our environment. In my latest work, I try to translate the essence of this timeless and universal experience by combining the moving body and the territory it moves through.

In 2019, a first experimentation on textiles led me to combine silkscreen and digital printing on cotton. In 2020, I furthered this research by silk-screening fabric and making beaded costumes shown along with ceramic masks in the installation presented at the Salle Alfred Pellan, Maison des arts de Laval. My residency at Sagamie will enable me to explore printing and textile making again. In discussion with costume designer Mariana Manzano, I will imagine a new series of textile sculptures from fabrics printed in Alma.
