Chloe Lewis and Andrew Taggart are visual artists based between Montreal, Canada, and Bergen, Norway, where they teach sculpture at the University of Bergen's Faculty of Art, Music and Design (KMD). Exploring the intersections of sculptural, literary, and functional forms, their work has been exhibited at venues such as Fonderie Darling (Montreal), Künstlerhaus Bethanien (Berlin), The Rooms (Newfoundland), Looiersgracht 60 (Amsterdam), Entrée (Bergen), Kunstnerforbundet (Oslo), ISCP (New York), Centre Clark (Montreal), Cricoteka (Krakow), The Centre for Contemporary Art (Warsaw), and Kunstverein Leipzig (Leipzig).

In parallel to their object-driven practice, Lewis and Taggart have been publishing artists' books since 2010. They will use their time at Centre Sagamie to develop a new edition, which will be launched as part of an exhibition in Norway this coming fall.

The artists wish to thank Bergen Kommune for supporting their residency.
